The Friends of LLELA welcomes all residents from Lewisville and the surrounding areas at our quarterly general meeting featuring presentations by City of Lewisville staff and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Hear about the work happening at LLELA and how the public can become involved. Learn ways to promote native habitats at your own home.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will provide an update on the Lewisville Dam. Attendees will learn about the wetlands restoration project at the borrow pit and get updates on the dam project, including status of repairs.

City of Lewisville staff will highlight a variety of initiatives to grow the city's tree canopy. Attendees will learn about tree giveaways, community planting events, and the city's Centennial Tree Program.
