Beyond the Basics: Fishing 201

Take your fishing knowledge to the next level. This indoor, hands-on workshop builds on the basics of fishing and focuses on the skills that make a successful angler. Participants will learn how to tie essential knots, choose the right bait for different conditions, understand rods and reels, and explore where fish live and how to find them. We’ll also cover fishing ethics, fish anatomy, and what to do after the catch.

This class is ideal for novice anglers who want more confidence before heading out on the water, or anyone looking to sharpen their fishing skills in a comfortable, indoor setting. Class will be held in the LLELA Classroom with parking in the Blackjack Trail parking area.

Registraion is required for this $10 class. LLELA entry fee of $5 per vehicle is not included in class cost and can be paid via credit or debit card only. We do not accept cash, tap to pay, or American Express.
