Volunteers are the heart of successful programs and vital to communities world-wide. Volunteering is the best way to meet people, be a part of your community, and make a difference. Whether your passion is raising awareness about the environment, mentoring youth, or helping beautify parks and facilities or just raising spirits, there are endless opportunities to get involved. Volunteering for the Parks & Recreation Department is a commitment of personal time and effort, without compensation, to help the Department provide the community with a positive quality of life. Lewisville Parks and Recreation encourages the involvement of volunteers and values their contributions to City parks, programs, and events and the benefit it brings to Lewisville residents and visitors.
Service Saturdays:
Service Saturdays are a series of monthly community beautification events where volunteers come together to make a lasting impact on Lewisville’s parks, trails, and green spaces. From planting native trees and flowers to removing litter and invasive species, these hands-on projects help enhance our environment and create a more beautiful, sustainable community. Whether you’re looking to give back, earn service hours, or enjoy the outdoors, Service Saturdays are a great way to get involved, meet like-minded people, and make a difference. Join us every 3rd Saturday and help keep Lewisville green and thriving! Contact Chris Chastain for more information.
