The following Aquatic Rules are listed for your convenience so you may be informed prior to your visit. Disregard for these rules can result in bodily harm and/or loss of swim privileges.
- Children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult (16+) within arm's reach at all times
- All individuals under 18 are subject to a swim test
- Wear proper swim attire (see admission regulations)
- Shower before entering the water
- Walk — do not run
- Be kind to pool equipment
- Pool equipment is for aquatic classes and may be used for other activities at the discretion of Aquatics staff
- Only US Coast Guard approved personal flotation devices are permitted
- Any person wearing a US Coast Guard approved device must remain within arm's reach of an adult
- Inflatable tubes or devices are prohibited in the pool
- Non-service animals are prohibited on the pool deck and may not enter the water
- Do not enter the water if you are ill with diarrhea, open wounds, or a contagious disease
- Swim diapers and snug-fitting plastic pants are required for children who are not potty trained
- Diaper changes must not occur within 6 feet of the water
- The pool and deck close during inclement weather
- Food and beverages are allowed in seating areas only
- Glass bottles, containers, and other hazardous objects are prohibited
- Prohibited items include: pool toys, floats, chairs, soaps/detergents/shampoos, bikes/skateboards/scooters/skates, grills on concrete areas, pets in water features, and piñatas/air or water balloons
- The splash park is unsupervised — use at your own risk; adult supervision is recommended
- Do not drink water from the splash park feature
- Listen to lifeguards and staff at all times
- Swim safely and have fun
The following IS allowed:
- Swim toys (except for large tubes and rafts)
- U.S. Coast Guard approved personal flotation devices
- Use of devices to protect eyes, ears, nose (goggles, earplugs, etc.) except on slides and diving boards
- Food and beverage consumption in designated areas (i.e. picnic tables and lawn)
- Radios, tape players, or other single use musical devices of private listening if headphones are in use.
