Central Park, located at 1899 S. Edmonds and Willow Oak, was developed in 1986 as Lewisville’s Sesquicentennial Park, celebrating 150 years of independence for the Republic of Texas. The park contains 39.5 acres of which approximately 5 acres is separated on the west side of Edmonds Lane.

Park amenities include:

• 3 picnic pavilions, including 1 bandshell
• playground
• picnic tables
• public restrooms
• hike and bike trail (approximately 1 mile in length)

Picnic Pavilions

Central Park has three pavilions, including one bandshell available for rent. The deposit and full cost of rental is due upon reservation.

Grills are not provided at any of the pavilions. This park is an ideal location for family or group picnics, birthday parties, small weddings and more.
