Central Park, located at 1899 S. Edmonds and Willow Oak, was developed in 1986 as Lewisville’s Sesquecentennial Park, celebrating 150 years of independence for the Republic of Texas. The park contains 39.5 acres of which approximately 5 acres is separated on the west side of Edmonds Lane.
Park amenities include:
- 3 picnic pavilions
- band shell
- picnic tables
- public restrooms
- hike and bile trail (approximately 1 mile in length)
Central Park has three pavilions available for rent. The deposit is $50 with a rental fee of $50 for each pavilion, with an optional alcohol deposit of $200. The deposit is due at time of reservation. The rental fee is due 30 days prior to reservation.
Each of the three pavilions has a full capacity of 50 with seating for 36.
- Pavilion #1 has 4 regular picnic tables and 2 handicap tables
Pavilions #2 & #3 both have 3 regular picnic tables and 3 handicap tables
Grills are not provided at any of the pavilions. This park is an ideal location for family or group picnics, birthday parties, small weddings and more.
The deposit is $50 with a rental fee also of $75. The optional alcohol deposit is $200. The deposit is due at time of reservation. The rental fee is due 30 days prior to reservation.
